Care and Medic are two separate online systems, each with its own database. A patient may exist on Medic, but not in Care, and vice versa.
When a patient registers or signs up on Care, their record is not automatically created in Medic. Similarly, if a patient visits a clinic and takes services, their profile is not created in Care, meaning they do not have access to their patient records there.
Both platforms are designed to work together – as the primary purpose of Care is to allow patients to view doctor’s schedules on Medic, book appointments, view booked appointments, purchase deals, and view purchased deals. Once their medical records are updated in Medic, they can access their lab reports, consent documents, and information leaflets on the Care platform.
