How to Send Receipts to Patients via Email?

  • Go to the Receipts screen as described in the Pre-requisites section.
  • From the Actions column, select Send Receipt, as highlighted in the image below.

  • The Send Receipt modal will open.
  • If the patient’s email address is already available in the patient profile, it will be displayed by default in the Email Address field, as shown in the image below.

  • If the patient’s email address is not available in the patient profile, the Email Address field will be empty, as shown in the image below. In this case, the staff must enter the patient’s email address.

  • Click the Share button.
  • A confirmation popup will appear at the bottom-right corner of the screen indicating that the receipt has been shared successfully, as shown in the image below.

  • The receipt will be sent to the patient via email, and the entered email address will be automatically saved to the patient profile.
