ER-X Generation
- Go to the “EMR” module and select “Patients” from the admin account.
- The “Patients” screen will open.
- Click on the “Queue Encounter” option from the Actions column.
- A modal will appear.
- Enter the Reason for consultation. Select the Payment type to “Insurance”. And click the “Save” button.
- A pop-up will display at the bottom-right confirming that the encounter has been queued successfully.
- Or you can queue the Encounter from the “Encounters” screen by selecting the “Queue Encounter” from the Actions column.
- Now, login from the doctor’s account. Go to the “Encounters” from the “EMR” module.
- The “Encounters” screen will open.
- Start the encounter of an insurance patient.
- The encounter will start.
- Principal Diagnosis and Prescription are compulsory to add for eRx generation.
- Click the “Generate eRx” button at the top-right corner of the encounter screen.
- Medic will open a screen in a new tab displaying the patient details, insurance details and encounter details.
- Click the “Submit” button from the bottom-right of the screen.
- A pop-up will display the eRx number on the screen.
View eRx
- Go to the “Insurance” module and select “eRx” from the admin account.
- The “E-Rx” screen will appear having Pending, Submitted, Failed, and Cancelled tabs:
Pending Tab:
- This tab displays all pending eRx prescriptions that have been generated but not yet submitted.
- You can review the details of each prescription by selecting the “Open” option from the Actions column. Once verified, click the Submit button to send the eRx.
Submitted Tab:
- This tab lists all submitted eRx prescriptions that have been successfully sent to the payer for processing.
Failed Tab:
- This tab displays all eRx submissions that failed due to validation errors or transmission issues.
- You can open each record to review the error details and take corrective action before resubmitting.
Cancelled Tab:
- This tab shows all cancelled eRx prescriptions.
