Only Admin and Manager can add a patient’s insurance details.
Constraints of adding patient’s insurance details:
The name of the insurance is a mandatory field. As you start writing, Medic will start suggesting your insurance company’s name. Select the one you want to apply to the patient’s profile. Clinics cannot write the names of insurance companies by themselves. If clinic(s) are unable to see the names, there is a high chance they need to update the scope list.
The network is a mandatory field. The network is a text-based field which means clinics can enter whatever they feel appropriate.
TPA is also a must-fill field. TPA is an acronym for Third Party Administrator. It has to be selected from the Medic suggestions. When a user starts typing the name of the TPA, the medic starts showing the relevant Third Party Administrator. Clinics cannot type the name by themselves.
Policy Number and Card Number are also necessary fields to fill out the form.
Expiry Date is also a must-fill field. This manifests the date when the insurance plan is going to be expired.
The insurance plan name is also mandatory along with its categories.
The value of insurance plan categories should be between 1-100.
