After starting encounters, doctors will observe a screen as shown below.
After viewing this screen, the doctor needs to add at least one diagnosis which is known as a principal diagnosis.
To do that, select diagnostics from the Right side navigation bar as shown in the image below.
The medic will take you to the below-mentioned section.
Click on the add button from the top right corner.
The medic will allow doctors to write diagnoses. As they start writing, the medic starts giving suggestions. Doctors have to pick a diagnosis from the given suggestion. (see constraints for more details).
A diagnosis can be made chronic by selecting the checkbox mentioned below.
The first diagnosis will be made as the principal diagnosis.
If encounters have two or more diagnoses, the principal diagnosis can be changed.
To change the principal diagnosis, select the checkbox available in front of the diagnosis name as shown in the image attached below.
As the doctor clicks on the aforementioned check box, the medic will make that diagnosis principal.
Now, the doctor can end the encounter. To end the encounter come to the top of the screen. On the top right corner of the encounter screen, there exists an end encounter button as shown in the image below.
Click on the end encounter button to end the encounter.
